A CRITICAL EVALUATION OF THE REGULATED ELECTRICITY PRACTICES IN NIGERIA
Electricity practice by nature brings entities; corporate and natural, together for a defined purpose, usually contractual. By nature it undergoes series of levels before getting to the final consumers. The generation stage is different from transmission while distribution is different from the rest. This brings quite diverse areas into a spot called the Electricity Market. In this LL.M Thesis titled “a Critical evaluation of the Regulated Electricity practices in Nigeria,” under the supervision of Professor Yemi Oke, the candidate, Mr. CJP Ogugbara used 5 chapters to synchronize, harmonize, and indeed evaluate the synergistic effect of the various regulated relationships in achieving a sustainable electricity development particularly, as they apply fully to the Nigerian Jurisdiction.
