Mr. CJP Ogugbara holds an LL. B from the Imo State University, Owerri, Imo State and B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos. He had his 1st LL.M from the University of Lagos, Lagos State where he acquired expertise in the field of electricity, taxation and secured credit transaction. He also obtained a 2nd LL.M from the Centre for Petroleum, Energy Economics and Law of the University of Ibadan, Oyo State where he was trained in the field of energy law and energy economics graduating top five of his class. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law, University of Ibadan with researching on the “Legal Regime for Optimizing Sustainable Green Economy through Carbon Pricing in Nigeria,” under the supervision of Professor P.C. Obutte. He is a Chartered Tax Practitioner and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). CJP Ogugbara is a Notary Public of Nigeria and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration, UK.
CJP Ogugbara Esq. is an experienced tax practitioner and climate change consultant. He is a seasoned litigation lawyer and arbitrator. He is a prolific writer with several peer-reviewed articles published in reputable international and local journals.
