Bills of Sale and Security Interest as Collateralizing Instruments for SMEs Credits in the Nigeria Post Covid-19 Economic Recovery.
Mortgage can be created over chattel or real property; unlike the old ideology that mortgage is restricted to real property. However, desperate business owners and entrepreneurs who are in dire need of finances to support their business find it extremely difficult to access the needed funds for businesses and expansion. This paper titled “Bills of Sale and Security Interest as collateralizing Instruments for SMEs’ credits in the Nigeria Post COVID-19 Economic Recovery,” examines the efficacious of the Bills of Sale and Security Interest as instances of chattel mortgage, in fostering alternatives to real property mortgage, thus a formidable opportunity to fill the gap in SMEs finance accessibility.
